Company Name: Star Services L L C Employment Type: Full Time Monthly Salary: Unspecified Minimum Work Experience: 2-5 Years Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree Listed By: Employer Career Level: Senior Description: Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility): · Manage the planning, design and implementation of projects initiated and executed by the Network Security Department. · Ensure the proper representation and enforcement of appropriate security controls and best practices within Etisalat products and services that Network Security reviews. · Use agreed upon Network Security department’s risk management framework to adopt effective controls for Etisalat products, services and projects. · Drive and execute security projects using internationally recognized project management methodologies and best practices such as PMI, PRINCE2 and/or Agile. · Mentor, guide and coach reporting staff in adopting security best practice guidelines, project management methodologies, communicating effectively with stakeholders and ensuring the security of Etisalat services is safeguarded in projects. · Ensure the effective management of stakeholders to align to security and engineering department’s vision and business interests · Use in-depth knowledge of the security industry best practices to reach security driven design goals and objectives within projects · Manage vendors and Etisalat partners effectively as and when required for the successful delivery of security projects. · Transition security solutions to Network Security Operations following successful delivery · Communicate and align with the objectives and practices of other teams within the Network Security department. Duties & Responsibilities: · Develop project plans and criteria for successful delivery of security projects. · Establish and maintains effective relations and communications with major stakeholders within all managed projects. · Maintain a coherent and effective established approach to guide, coach and mentor reporting staff. · Establish clear guidelines for security solutions for transitioning to Network Security Operations following successful project implementation. · Review Etisalat services and products in projects and ensure implementation of agreed upon best practice guidelines to for effective and practical security controls · Liaises, manages and communicates with service owners for all Etisalat infrastructure products, services and projects that require securing to minimize the loss of confidentiality, integrity and availability · Participates in the building of security policies, risk management frameworks and security best practices and requirements for the Network Security team. · Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions. · Manages monitors and evaluates the section’s on-going performance and quality of its output and services. · Sets the objectives and vision of the section and ensures alignment to the Department’s and Etisalat’s vision and strategy. · Reports to management the progress, risks and issues of projects and ongoing activities in a timely and effective manner to clearly inform management of the department’s undertaking Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent Experience: 6-8 years in Network Security Development. · Professional Training, Certification Mandatory -PMP, CISSP Preferred -CRISC, CCNP, CCIE, ITILv3
