Company Name: OSN Employment Type: Full Time Monthly Salary: Unspecified Minimum Work Experience: 5-10 Years Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree Listed By: Employer Career Level: Manager Description: Description Analysis of tasks and workflows within OSN to identify where best practice can be leveraged within the context of the BMS (Broadcast Management System) Recommendation of process changes or system configuration to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the BMS system to OSN's business requirements Development and documentation of new standard operating procedures and workflows Holding regular workshops with the BMS user community in OSN to optimize workflows and practices Recommending any changes in workflow required within OSN's internal user base to ensure the BMS is an efficient fit for OSN's business needs Working closely with the BMS project and support teams and any other third parties that may be involved in the delivery, implementation and support of the BMS system at OSN Working closely with OSN's IT department to ensure the infrastructure in place is fitting for OSN's CMS current and future requirements Working closely with OSN's Broadcast and IT departments to ensure the optimal interfacing of the IBMS system to other systems within OSN to meet the business requirements Assisting in the training of staff, in conjunction with the supplier's training team, in the use of the BMS Continuously looking for ways to improve workflows and processes Manage the provision of support to all users of OSN's BMS Guide the development of the BMS together with OSN's internal departments and the supplier of the BMS Manage the BMS team to deliver a first class service to all users of the CMS Requirements Experience required: Experience of 7 years+ working in a large multi-cultural organization Experience of 7 years+ working in a broadcast environment and using a BMS on a daily basis Previous experience in a similar position Thorough and detailed knowledge of broadcast equipment and workflows Strong IT background Ability to develop logical detailed test scenarios Knowledge of Database and SQL Knowledge of IT networks would be advantageous Excellent presentation skills Demonstrable experience of broadcast technology and systems Excellent IT skills Proven track record of successfully integrating and operating Broadcast and Engineering systems Excellent understanding of transmission and production workflows Knowledge of Broadcast Content Management Systems Working knowledge of Windows Server, SQL 2008/2012, Oracle Enterprise Database, Visio, MS Project and other Microsoft Applications Knowledge of metadata associated with broadcast video and audio signals Knowledge of data flow between systems Knowledge of workflows in broadcast production and transmission environments Knowledge of program rights management and program scheduling Knowledge of linear and non-linear delivery of content to customers Knowledge of studio contract management and program financials Knowledge of database scripting and developing reports Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field Technically capable and good practical experience with various departments at a TV/Broadcast Company Knowledge & Skills: Knowledge of Broadcast Content Management Systems Working knowledge of Windows Server, SQL 2008/2012, Oracle Enterprise Database, Visio, MS Project and other Microsoft Applications Knowledge of metadata associated with broadcast video and audio signals Knowledge of data flow between systems Knowledge of workflows in broadcast production and transmission environments Knowledge of program rights management and program scheduling Knowledge of linear and non-linear delivery of content to customers Knowledge of studio contract management and program financials
