This position is within the IT Department and reports to the Vice President - Information Technology. The jobholder will provide operational excellence by ensuring provisioning and high availability of all IT infrastructure and related operational services with the assistance of outsourced agencies in the areas of automated systems involving PLCs, computers and electronic interfaces in various business units of EKFC. Key Accountabilities Ensure that SE01, SE02, SE03, Metalprogetti and all other such systems across all units of EKFC are operational with a guaranteed uptime more than 99.5% Collaborate with key stakeholders in identifying & developing industrial automation opportunities in the shop floor Implement and manage near fault tolerant infrastructure and systems with the help of outsourced partners Manage, monitor and report the progress and performance of the service provider engaged with Annual maintenance contract Collaborate with IT Delivery team in ensuring that adequate & state-of-the-art infrastructure is available Ensure adherence to best practices of change management in production environment Perform ongoing review of infrastructure capacity utilization and carry out advance capacity planning Ensure that no intellectual property (IP) reaches unauthorised entities by implementing necessary Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) Manage IT Risk & compliance objectives and Implement Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) with all Vendors / partners Ensure that software & H/W licenses are up-to-date and no unauthorised software, firmware or middleware is in use Ensure that all documents, communications, training materials, manuals, user guides, systems specifications, product manuals etc. are maintained in a secured environment and are easily available on demand only to authorised persons Support the strategic and future needs of the business and drives efficiencies and improves effectiveness Ensure that PLCs are up-to-date and risk free in advance by ensuring scheduled Health Check etc. Essential Requirements and Competencies Qualification: Engineering degree in Computer Science / EEE / Network Engineering / Automation Engineering or equivalent Preference will be given to EEE or Automation Engineers with PLC specialization Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma or equivalent Quality management qualification Experience: Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in a large organization specializing in Automation engineering, PLC based systems Skills: Strong technical skills in the area of IT Infrastructure & automation. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Should have strong hands-on technical background in the areas of cloud computing, networking and IT service Management. Results focused with strong leadership skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should have the ability to work effectively with outsourcing partners Should have the ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Must have a strong technical background and hands-on experience surrounding IT Infrastructure technologies.
