Graphic & Web Designer/Developer Job Description:

Job Responsibilities: • Interpreting the business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose • Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts • Developing interactive design • Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts • Obtains approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment; purchasing from vendors • Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art • Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients • Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time • Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD) • Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, 3ds Max, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash • Working as part of a team with marketing, PR and all other departments Key Skills: • Arabic knowledge is essential • Graphic designing experience in InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and photo-editing software • Demonstrated experience in HTML5 And CSS 3, JQuery, Basic knowledge of Php language • Portfolio of websites designed and developed using wordpress • Good understanding of all social media channels • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability, originality and innovation • Accuracy and attention to detail • Excellent time management and organizational skills • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
