Coordinates the drafting of (Engineer)/ drafts (Associate Engineer) security policies and ensures their awareness and comprehensibility by initiating awareness campaigns. Prioritizes tasks and assigns responsibilities. (Engineer only) Liaise with project & planning teams to create Security design. Process RFQ/RFP and/or CEARs to acquire equipment or services as part of security projects. Implement Security projects. Prepare project and handover documentation. Duties & Responsibilities Assesses requirements for security policies to meet business needs, environmental threats and legislation and regulatory requirements. Reviews with major stakeholders, particularly functional managers, to identify needs for security policies. Drafts security policies in coordination with stakeholders and follows up on required changes accordingly. Submits security policies for CEO approval in coordination with Senior Manager Network Security Development (Engineer only). Initiates campaigns after approval and bears responsibility for awareness and comprehensibility across the entire organization; reviews success of awareness campaigns and follows up accordingly. Implements controls to uphold policies and to ensure their comprehensibility. Coordinates activities with Security Planning team to evaluate feasibility and implementation requirements of security policies. Keeps abreast of new technologies, systems and developments in the Network Security area. Identifies training needs of subordinates to ensure enhancement of skills (Engineer only). Manages, monitors and evaluates the section’s on-going performance and quality of its output and services (Engineer only). Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions (Engineer only). Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in Network Security Development.
