Company Name: Expo 2020 Dubai Employment Type: Full Time Monthly Salary: Unspecified Job Role: Graphic Designer Minimum Work Experience: 5-10 Years Minimum Education Level: N/A Listed By: Employer Career Level: Mid-level Description: Opportunity Responsibilities The 2D Graphic Designer will develop and support the development and production of exhibition content and design integration for exhibition delivery across the Expo 2020 site: The Main Responsibilities of this role include: - The 2D Graphic Designer develops and supports the development and production of exhibition content; - Developing the 2D design concepts with the design team, finalizing proposals and presenting these to internal and external teams; - Modelling, creating initial design sketches and computer-generated visuals, sometimes building models and prototypes; - Liaising with graphic and other designers, audiovisual and animatronics experts, graphic video producers and multimedia specialists and actors to create a sensory experience for the visitor; - Ensuring all exhibitions and displays have a definite link to Expo 2020 and the overall theme. Skills 5+ years experience in design, architectural, exhibition or related company as well as: - A Bachelors' Degree in 2D Graphic Design; - Graphic design and production in display and exhibition; - Strong aesthetic and solid technical design knowledge with understanding and/or hands-on experience in specific exhibition skill sets; - Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills; - Pragmatic and able to research, analyze and solve problems as required; - Creative and experimental when required. Job Details Opportunity Location: Dubai, UAE Department Definition: The Exhibitions and Public Realm Department is responsible for the design, manufacture delivery and operation of all exhibitions in the public realm. The Exhibition program involves devising and implementing creative, sustainable and cost-effective solutions to the design and delivery of Exhibitions, visitor engagement and services in line with the themes of Expo 2020.
