Responsibilities of this position is including below but not limited to, 1) work in a team providing 24 hrs support to the organization with uninterrupted connectivity and system up time 2) Diagnose hardware and software problems, and replace defective components. 2) Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations. 3) Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations. 4) Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware. 5) Operate master consoles in order to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use. 6) Perform routine network startup and shutdown procedures, and maintain control records. 7) Establish working relationships with outsourced Level 3 support teams, product vendors, IT teams, Security and compliance teams, process leads and technical design authorities. 8) should be ready to learn new technologies and grow with the team The Successful Applicant 1. Educated to degree level or equivalent with industry certifications 2. Knowledge of using standard Microsoft and Linux server environments, CISCO and network management 3. Experience in an application support team environment supporting time critical applications would be added advantage 4. 1 to 2 years experience in using Microsoft based systems installation and maintenance including use management 5. Software basic coding abilities using c#, .Net, python and DBA Skills including web technologies will be an added advantages
