STUDENT ADVISER / COUNSELOR for Abu Dhabi Position Description A leading Educational Consultancy is looking for a Student Adviser This is a full time position. Pay is based on performance and a salary + commission combination. Evenings and weekends may be required. Responsibilities of the Position: -- cultivate relationships with school counselors, students and parents -- advise students in shaping educational goals, course selection, registration, program requirements -- provide information to students and parents regarding admission requirements and other policies and procedures; assist students with application procedures and processes -- conduct informational meetings and presentations at schools, fairs and other venues -- 3+ years of experience dealing with high school students, parents, teachers and counselors. -- You must have Career /College Admissions Counseling experience -- Ability to work without supervision, be self-motivated, proactive and solution-oriented and have the ability to multi task -- Willing to generate leads and do marketing of the services -- Enthusiasm, friendly and confident demeanor -- Fluent in English
