Senior Java Developer

To join our team we are looking for a highly driven and self-motivated software developer with a background in Java. The projects and products that the role will be working on are challenging and rewarding, combining the world’s leading development practices with the development of innovative Big Data solutions. The Developer will be based in Dubai but will be required to work on a project in Riyadh for 1 year, then he will move to work in Dubai. Key Responsibilities: • Creating new features and enhancing functionality on existing software. • Adapts and extend existing re-usable components and libraries. • Develops high quality software while meeting deadlines. • Assists with rollout and post production support. • Presents ideas for system improvements. • Design or upgrade existing software to ensure product performance and quality expectations are met. Required skills: • BSc. Computer Science or equivalent education/experience • 5-10 years’ experience designing and building web applications and API’s with Java Strong OOP skills. • Ability to write robust, efficient and maintainable code. • Confidence working across the entire web stack (front, middle and back end tiers) • Experience in Spring Framework. • Experience in RESTful web-service APIs and Spring MVC. • Familiarity with database development • Experience in Hibernate. • Ability to learn new technologies • Ability to design and implement micro-services using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud. • Experience in Spring AMQP and RabbitMQ. • Experience in Spring Data with NoSQL DB engines specially MongoDB and Redis. • Good knowledge in Maven, Git repository, and Linux Preferred skills: • Experience in AngularJS and SPA applications. • Experience in Spring Social APIs.
