Work with Development and Application Service teams to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive approach is taken and liaise with Business partners to set and manage expectations. Key Accountabilities Actively manage software delivery activities including assignment of resources and resource utilisation against demand pipeline, addressing bottlenecks and providing forward view of resource availability. Ensure that delivery estimates are produced in a timely fashion and that work plans are managed and refined throughout the delivery lifecycle. Ensure that high quality Functional and Technical documentation is produced and maintained. Facilitate clear communication with Business stakeholders to ensure timelines, scope and deliverables are well-understood Participate in Demand Management (CRB) and Technical Design Authority as required. Work with Application Service Managers to establish Application development roadmaps and schedules are planned, resourced and delivered against commitments Work with Transformation Portfolio and Project Managers to ensure strategic projects are delivered to time and budget. Work with Business Readiness / Testing teams to ensure that Application changes and Software releases are fully understood and effectively communicated in advance Ensure that planned releases are submitted to OSN CAB in a timely fashion, support the process of CAB submissions Support the Transformation of OSN's Technology function to a best practice organisation, including people and processes. Ensure that appropriate quality, maintainability and performance standards can be measured. Provide a foundation for the delivery of robust business applications. Requirements Qualifications, experience, skills and competencies Experience required: Substantial experience in Information Technology, typically possessing a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience, with a strong focus upon Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) Can demonstrate experience with Programme and Project management methodologies such as PMI and Prince2 Experienced in applying Agile / Scrum methodologies Education requirement: Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience. Familiar with SQL, Java, .Net, Oracle, LDAP, HTML5, DRM, VMware, NetApp. Knowledge & Skills: Experience of current technologies and Pay TV industry trends Excellent organisational skills, communication skills and technical skills. A combination of strong technology skills and business acumen Having the ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
