Company Name: Star Services L L C Employment Type: Full Time Monthly Salary: Unspecified Minimum Work Experience: 2-5 Years Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree Listed By: Employer Career Level: Senior Description: Principal Functions (Major Areas of Responsibility): · Bears responsibility for the assessment of security policy needs by reviewing with important stakeholders. · Plans and coordinates the development of security policies and ensures their awareness and comprehensibility by initiating awareness campaigns. · Prioritizes tasks and assigns responsibilities. · Project management responsibilities for ISO 27001 project, including Scope, Objectives and other documentation creation with Scope owner. · Plan and Conduct Internal audits for ISO 27001 and BS25999 scopes. · Plans, designs and implement Security projects as assigned. Duties & Responsibilities: · Develops requirements for security policies to meet business needs, environmental threats and legislation and regulatory requirements. · Establishes and maintains effective relations with major stakeholders, particularly functional managers for the development and enhancement of security policies. · Supports superior in establishing plans for new projects related to information security. · Submits security policies for top Management’s approval in coordination with Senior Manager Network Security Development. · Initiates campaigns after approval and bears responsibility for awareness and comprehensibility across the entire organization; reviews success of awareness campaigns and follows up accordingly. · Reviews and implements controls to uphold policies and to ensure their comprehensibility. · Liaises effectively with Security Planning team to evaluate feasibility and implementation requirements of security policies. · Guides Engineers/Associate Engineers on issues related to Security Policy. · Manages, monitors and evaluates the section’s on-going performance and quality of its output and services. · Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions. Minimum Requirements · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Telecommunications/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent Experience: 6-8 years in Network Security Development
