This position is within the IT Department and reports to the Assistant Vice President - Information Technology. The jobholder will be responsible for improving business processes and supporting critical business strategies by managing the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications systems. He/she will lead ERP projects and will oversee consultants & developers to ensure that specifications are met while effectively collaborating with key functional champions & outsourced partners to deliver quality ERP implementation. Key Accountabilities Leads the development and delivery of ERP projects as per the implementation roadmap and agreed SLA's. Effectively manages day to day deliverables and engagement with the vendors. Leads & motivates a team of business analysts including but not limited to: engagement, goal setting, and ensuring the team has the right capability. Evaluates the existing applications to determine technical changes, schedules projects and resources and monitors project timelines & delivery Sets and implements policies and procedures related to ERP application quality standards and testing. Leverages tools and processes to develop and manage project plans and task assignments for all team resources. Actively participates in selection of tools and methods for successfully meeting project objectives. Leads the phase wise risk analysis and proactively drives the Go/No Go decisions for all project phases and ensures the completion of appropriate business and systems training for new development. Proactively identifies and removes barriers as related to projects and processes Regularly keeps the stakeholders updated on the project progress & ensures high satisfaction scores. Effectively communicates the technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Showcases industry best practices & pushes for adoption. Effectively manages multiple stakeholders and challenges the status-quo & facilitates the improvement discussions. Establishes and manages key strategic supplier relationships Essential Requirements and Competencies Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Preferred: PMP certification Exposure to Agile & Scrum delivery will be plus Exposure to Lean / Six Sigma preferred Experience: Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in a large organization in managing large scale and complex IT projects. Skills: Experienced with utilizing recognized project management tools and processes. Ability to meet deadlines while leading cross-functional project teams. Strong communications skills, both verbal and written. Strong presentation skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Experience with at least 1 ERP Product (Tier-1)
