The team deals with a wide range of public, private and industrial water sector clients. The requisite engineer will support the technical delivery of ongoing and upcoming projects across all disciplines and provide technical leadership in the areas of hydrology, flood studies, urban and highway drainage systems design. Design of stormwater infrastructure including understanding of groundwater related issues and sustainable drainage systems (big picture thinking and detailing). Technical planning to support stormwater masterplans in urban watersheds, hydrology and flood risk. Technical (design) lead of project teams with capability to train and mentor junior team members. Support of business development - internal and client facing. Networking between global, regional, business development and client facing teams The minimum qualifications for this position are: Minimum 12-15 years of extensive experience in the storm/ flood management and design Working experience should demonstrate: Sound knowledge of hydraulics and hydrology Master planning experience in storm management/ flood management for cities. Hand on experience with piped and surface drainage modeling software. Experience with ground water management. Design of storm/flood management infrastructures including wadi management (collection, storage, conveyance, pumping, treatment, discharge, protection, etc.). Experience of SUDS’s design. Experience of design coordination, design reviews and commercial awareness. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: 1.
