Junior Receivables Accountant

Employment Type: Full Time Monthly Salary: 8,000 - 11,999 AED Job Role: Accountant Benefits: Air ticket, medical and life insurance, bonus scheme, 25 working days annual leave, etc. Minimum Work Experience: 2-5 Years Minimum Education Level: Bachelors Degree Listed By: Employer Company Size: 201-500 Employees Career Level: Junior Description: (a) Process Accounts Receivable, including both invoicing and collections, in a timely and accurate manner, according to approved financial policies and procedures. (b) Dispatch processed invoices and to be sent to respective Customers. (c) Responsible for the A/R reconciliation between the sub-ledger and the general ledger on a monthly basis. (d) Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable offsets, as well as managing letters of credit (e) Recording of cash receipts in the Accounting System. (f) Approve Sales Orders from the Distribution department based on approved Customer Purchase Orders. (g) Dispatch invoices to be sent to respective Customers. (h) Responsible for the Reconciliations - Ensure Accounts Receivable control account tallies with the sub-ledger - Customer Account Reconciliation. (i) Prepare monthly/quarterly settlement between the Company and the Interconnection partners. (j) Prepare Monthly Forecast of Collection. (k) Prepare Aging Report for Management and for discussion with Accounts Managers. (l) Follow-up payments with the Customers. (m) Prepare bank deposit slips for the Customer cheques. (n) Provide feedback/inputs to Existing/New Contracts. (o) Coordinate with bank on Bank Guarantee/Letters of Credit and other relevant issues (p) Prepare debt collection letters and related letters for Customers (q) Assist in resolving customer queries/disputes (r) File management of AR documents (s) Prepare other tasks as assigned by the line manager as and when needed
