WE LOVE GREAT COFFEE AND CHOCOLATE!! The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of all aspects of design and be totally proficient in the following: - InDesign - Photoshop - Illustrator - MS Excel All within a MAC OS X operating system. HTML skills are a bonus. You will be responsible for design work across a range of design which will typically include corporate gifts, promotional and retail products with strong emphasis on packaging and presentation. This role is very much client focused therefore you should be able to demonstrate excellent people skills along with the ability to conduct meetings and liaise with clients where needed. You will be expected to manage a job from its inception to delivery so strong job management is essential. Liaising with clients to determine their requirements and budget Managing client proposals from concept through to design, print and production Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales Developing concepts, graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos and packaging. Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy; Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required Liaising with external printers on a regular basis to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed / manufactured to the highest quality We can offer the right candidate: A Friendly and exciting work environment A competitive salary - Free parking - Potential to develop and grow your position within the company Due to where our offices are situated you will need your own form of transport.
