The Faculty of Business is the largest faculty within the University of Wollongong in Dubai. The Faculty offers undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate research programs in a variety of disciplines including Economics, Logistics, Quality Management, Business Management, Finance, Banking and Accounting. To be successful in this position you must have prior experience of teaching both undergraduate and post-graduate courses in Economics. Candidates should have a PhD. in Economics or a closely related field, from a recognised university. They should also have experience in teaching at undergraduate and Master’s level. Industry experience or involvement in executive education would also be beneficial. Essential Criteria: The ideal candidate for this posiiton must have the following qualifications: PhD. Degree in the discipline (or related discipline) from a recognised international academic institution Teaching experience at an internationally recognized institution Experience in supervising doctoral candidates An active researcher in the field (or related field) with publications in recognised international journals Fluency in English language (both spoken and written) Interested candidates must have a strong record of research in related fields supported by documentary evidence of publication. Publications should be ranked according to the Australian Business Deans’ Council ranking available here: http://www.abdc.edu.au/master-journal-list.php All new Faculty will be required to support the University's PhD and DBA programs.
