Supply Chain Executive

• Undertaking day-to-day smooth running and problem resolution related to stores/ material/ manpower/ employees/ transportation/ logistics • Coordinating with store supervisor for stacking of goods • Conducting daily meeting with all store employees’ and Maintaining meeting contact sheet • Timely communication and resolution of supply issues(short fall & surplus) • Maintaining adequate inventory for outgoing goods • Overseeing and verifying orders, picking, packing, and distribution activity as per documentation • Monitoring and controlling stock levels, moving stock and making sure that fast moving products are always available • Preparing regular inventory movement reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis • Ensuring efficiency of supply processes and meet time lines. • Optimizing local supplier value by arranging efficient schedules/ routines through area and store management • Distributing approved invoices to invoice pickers on receiving orders from sales, ensuring use of updated data for these activities. • To work closely with various functions on delivery, inventory and product related matters to ensure stock availability • Preparing reports for measuring performance against demand plan and identify gaps so as to close these gaps • Responding to all store ordering queries or issues supportively, ensuring their needs are met and that company procedures are followed • Maintains regular contact with stores, to ensure smooth flow of work and clear communication on supplies issues, including the identification of new staff/ store management for briefing on requirements • Maintains log of all store feedback for review of processes/procedures • Manage and supervise staff tasked with creating material requirement plans and/or forecasts • Controlling all documents e.g. Credit Notes, Goods Receiving Notes, Production –Raw material receiving-good transferring vouchers etc • Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment • Well planned and timely dispatches to the other locations by distribution vans • To assist in the correct end of the season return of goods ( Stock takings)
